Church Ministries

Evangelism

In keeping with Luke 4:18-19 (Isaiah 61:1-4), we are compelled by love and obedience to live, speak, and bring Jesus’ Gospel to our community.

For purposes of organization and administration, we separate our missions and evangelistic activities. Missions Ministry is described as supporting other ministries and Churches outside our immediate area.

Our goal in evangelism is very simple to instruct and develop followers of Christ (Disciples). We believe that the primary method of developing followers of Christ is by relationships. So our methodology in support of this belief has us doing activities that allow and promote relationships. We are not dogmatic in how we carry out our Church Mission (Luke 4:18-19). Currently, we use several methods to promote the Gospel. Those methods are Bible studies, Church van transportation, picnics, social assistance, and other special events. Regarding our special events, although we do appreciate those ministries and activities that have a short term focus. We firmly believe that our special events are only a kickoff to start and/or grow a relationship. Currently, we have 2 Bible studies in manufactured home communities that are geared introduce and mature people in the Gospel of Peace.

Demographically, we have groups geared towards families, men, women, youth, and children. Our current geographic focus is Springfield Township, the Reynolds Corner Portion of Toledo (Rogers High School area), and Sylvania (city and township). We are not limited to this but for now this is our focus. Please view the specific page for an outreach nearest you.
