We are committed to teaching and encouraging our children to live lives committed to Jesus Christ.
The mission of the children’s ministry at Family Christian Center is to help train and equip any child who comes to Family Christian Center with the truths of God’s Word by being a support to the training the children receive at home. We equip our teachers to teach and model the Biblical truths outlined in the curriculum (and beyond) by ministering to the children out of the outpouring of their own relationship with God so their teaching is real and personal. We also connect with parents and give them opportunities to be involved in what their children are learning at FCC.
Our heart is to love and serve the children at FCC and to teach them how to love and serve others through the power of the Holy Spirit. They also have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with one another during our weekly activities. We have placed a greater emphasis on engaging our children to enter the mainstream of Church life earlier rather than later in their lives. They have opportunities to serve in the church from an early age.
And since the safety of our children is very important to us, we require that anyone who teaches or works with the children go through a process that involves a background check, attendance at FCC for at least 6 months, membership (or seeking membership), and interview. Please see the children's ministry brochure below for information on child check-in and age/grade breakdown of classes.
